After successful completion of the AME course, students are eligible to work in various Domestic & International Airline, Maintenance & Repair Organization (MRO’s) & Technical Publication Organizations, Flying Clubs.

They can opt to work in a different department like line Maintenance, Stores, Quality & Planning, Technical Publication, Operation, Cabin Maintenance, Ground Handling as per their interest.

Eligibility Criteria

As far as the eligibility criteria are concerned, candidates should have passed or appeared for the Class 10+2 Board exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subject combination.

Candidates who have a 3-year Diploma in Engineering or B. Tech or a higher degree in Science (PCM) are also eligible.

They should have to be physically fit and should not have any vision problems like Colour Blindness or Night Blindness.

  • Aircraft maintenance engineers are the most trained and qualified engineers who receive a licensed certificate issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Government of India. In the category of Aeroplane Turbine Aircraft maintenance engineer is trained to obtain an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License for the maintenance performed on aircraft structure, Power-plant comprising of Light Aeroplane, Heavy Aeroplane, Piston Engine, and Jet Engine.
